Biography

Gloria Gift Nankunda is a multidisciplinary artist, creative producer, and community builder with over two decades of experience at the intersection of arts, culture, and social impact.

As Co-Founder and Director of Programs at ACHIST, Gloria leads the design and delivery of youth innovation programs, equipping the next generation of African-Canadian STEM and AI leaders through facilitation, community engagement, and creative capacity-building.

She is the founder of Gisha Productions, an entertainment company specializing in content creation, brand consulting, and production for television, film, theatre, and live events. She is also the Founder and Executive director of Gisha Nankunda Arts Association, a non-profit serving the East African-Canadian community, and the Emanzi Dance Troupe, dedicated to preserving East African cultural heritage.

A musician, voiceover artist, host, cultural ambassador & curator, Gloria has previously served a juror for the Small World Music Incubator cohort and performed at the Royal Ontario Museum, Aga Khan Museum, Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, Sankofa Square and Theatre Passe Muraille. She currently serves as Secretary on the Board of the Canadian Association for the Advancement of Music and the Arts.
