The Innovation Access Hub Model
Inspired by community-based access models, ACHIST operates as an “Innovation Access Hub,” a culturally responsive, low-barrier entry point into STEM and artificial intelligence ecosystems.
Recognising that many African Canadian youth face structural barriers in accessing high-growth sectors, ACHIST provides:
- Early engagement and exposure to STEM and AI
- Culturally relevant mentorship and peer support
- Guided pathways into education, training, and employment
Through partnerships with schools, post-secondary institutions, industry leaders, and community organizations, ACHIST facilitates “warm transitions” from learning to employment, ensuring no youth is left behind in Canada’s digital future.
